That is why the accessory specialist Novoflex is now offering the CASTEL-COP-DIGI slide duplicator that allows fast and easy digitalization of your originals, from 35 mm up to 6 x 7 cm medium format.

The digital slide duplicator is designed to be used with the Novoflex Castel-L and Castel-Q or Castel-mini focusing racks, plus most of the current Novoflex bellows with rack-and-pinion drive, and can be used with no problems with macro lenses up to 105 mm. The digital slide duplicator reliably positions framed 35 mm or medium-format slides or film strips.

This duplicating method is especially recommended if larger quantities of negatives or slides need to be digitized quickly with a digital camera. It also saves on the cost of a scanner – a medium-format scanner represents a substantial investment. The high quality of today's digital cameras ensures first-rate results in double quick time and many users prefer this method to scanning with a slide scanner.

Checking always has to beat guessing; and now there's a perfect check card for exposure metering and white balance.

The flexible check card, made of a special polymer, has an antireflection coating on both sides: one side white, the other grey. The grey side serves as reference area for exposure metering while the white side enables correct white balance that is so important in digital photography. Handling couldn’t be easier. The camera takes a light reading of either side of the check card to perform an exposure measurement or white balance and, hey presto, the camera is set optimally for the prevailing light conditions to guarantee perfect shots.

The Novoflex ZEBRA check card is a must for every quality-conscious photographer, regardless of the medium used to capture images.
